Settings
Choose how the site looks and reads for you. Your choices are saved in this browser only and apply to every page.
Language
Every page exists in these six languages. The language you choose here applies to the link you follow.
Theme
Light is the default. The 3D explorers always use a dark stage, so their colours read the same in both themes.
Units
Automatic means metric, except on the English pages with a browser set to US English.
Motion
Reduced motion turns off camera flights, automatic turning and animated transitions in the 3D views and charts.
3D quality
Automatic starts with what your device can handle and steps down if the picture stutters. The data and controls are the same at every level.
Data on this device
On by default, so every page opens with your birth year, birthday if you gave one, and country. They are kept in this browser only and never sent anywhere.
Your settings, and the birth year and other details you enter in the tools, stay in this browser. This button deletes all of it. Your privacy choice stays.
